Moreton Bay Region

Moreton Bay Region caravan, camping and visitor information.

If you’re looking for some of South East Queensland’s best sights, experiences and cuisine then the Moreton Bay Region has everything you’re looking for.

Located just north of the Queensland capital Brisbane and immediately south of the Sunshine Coast and sharing a common border with the Somerset Region to the west, this region is one of South East Queensland’s most diverse areas. It spans more than 2037 square kilometres from Samford and Arana Hills to Redcliffe, Bribie Island, Caboolture, Dayboro, Woodford and Mt Mee.

The Region is famous for its beautiful natural environment whether it be the beautiful seaside areas adjacent to Moreton Bay or the cool dense rainforests of the Mount Glorious, Mount Nebo and Mt Mee regions of the D’Aguilar National Park.

The entire area has so much to offer with great experiences such as parks, waterways, wildlife centres, lookouts, beaches, museums and festivals, camping and 4WD adventures. For the foodies, there is a wide range of dinning opportunities from paddock to plate experiences, the most amazing seafood direct from the bay, enjoying a sip of local wines on the balcony overlooking fields of vines and almost everything in between. If browsing markets for local fresh produce and arts and crafts is more to your liking there are many options available to you across the entire region.

An area of amazing places and natural spaces from pristine coastal villages and rural townships to bustling urban spaces and thriving business precincts, Moreton Bay Region is a naturally beautiful place to live, work and visit.
