Cruice Park

Located 4km NW of Woodford just off the D’Aguilar Highway on Kilcoy Beerwah Road, Cruice Park is a free overnight campsite.

The park makes for a great overnight stop for even the biggest of rigs due to it’s large grassy area’s and sealed loop driveway. It is close to the road and has lots of lovely large shady trees. The amenities block has recently been updated and is tidy and clean. There is plenty of room and some play equipment for kids. There are a handful of picnic tables provided with some being undercover. Dogs are also welcome here but are not allowed within 15 metres of the children’s playground.

Cruice Park is well maintained by the Moreton Bay Regional Council and is also home to a Memorial to Leichhardt who used this area as a base for his exploration.

There is good mobile phone service and television reception here.
Dogs are welcome at this campsite but please be responsible!

The maximum time limit for staying here is 20 hours.

Please Note:
Rest areas are there for you to stop and rest, making your trip safer and more enjoyable. Rest areas are not long-term camping sites, however motorists are able to take extended rest breaks at some sites. Rules on the length of stay at rest areas vary between controlling authorities. Check with the authority responsible for the relevant rest area for more information. Heavy vehicle rest areas are only for heavy vehicles. This does not include caravans and motorhomes, they are for truck drivers only. (source: www.tmr.qld.gov.au)
