Boreen Point Campground

Boreen Point Campground is located on the Esplanade in the small township of Boreen Point which is in the Noosa Region of South East Queensland.

Camp in natural bushland on the shore of Lake Cootharaba, the largest lake on the Noosa River. Lake Cootharaba has been a popular spot for camping, fishing and sailing for more than 70 years. Keep the tradition alive and set up camp in what is undeniably one of the most pristine and untouched natural areas on the Sunshine Coast.

Boreen Point Campground is all about that relaxed, family-friendly vibe coupled with its white sandy shores and shady, park-like surroundings.

You can soak up some lakeside tranquility while still being just a short 25-minute drive away from Noosa’s awesome beach and hinterland hotspots for those day trips.

The roomy, unpowered campsites at Boreen Point Campground are tucked away in the bush, and there’s a special spot by the lake which is specifically for tents only. Additionally there are a number of powered sites perfect for caravans, campervans, and RVs together with tents.

Lake Cootharaba is an ideal spot for sailing and fishing, and the water is crystal clear and not too deep. And additionally, if you’re up for some kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, or a cozy evening by the fire, you can rent the gear you need right from the office.
