Adelaide River Show Society Caravan Park

The Adelaide River Show Society Caravan Park is located on Dorat Street in the town of Adelaide River that is in the Coomalie Region of the Northern Territory.

As the name suggests, the park is run by the local show society which is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the promotion and encouragement of cultural, sporting, recreational and social activities in this region which adjoins the iconic Litchfield National Park.

The Adelaide River Show Society Caravan Park is also close to the many tourist attractions in the area as well as being close to other surrounding towns such as Batchelor and Lake Bennett. This makes it the obvious place to stay while discovery all the region has to offer.

There are 40 Powered Sites and Unlimited Un-Powered Sites many with shady trees and grass underfoot. There are also sites available for large RV’s. Facilities include covered BBQ areas, two amenity blocks, shaded swimming pool, laundry facilities (2 washing machines and 1 dryer) and a children’s playground.

Due to the popularity of the park they don’t take bookings so you will need to call and check on site availability before you arrive.

PETS are welcome (subject to management discretion) however they MUST be on a leash at all times and please be responsible!

Most showgrounds will host a variety of events throughout the year and camping maybe unavailable at these times. Please check before arriving that the showground is open for camping when you are planning to visit.
