Camping and Caravanning in the Southern Downs Region

The Southern Downs Region is a Local Government Area located in the Darling Downs region of Queensland along the state’s boundary with New South Wales.

The Major towns in the region are Warwick and Stanthorpe and there are many smaller, quaint country towns spread across the district. As the Rose and Rodeo capital of Australia, Warwick is a city of surprises and Stanthorpe is home to more than 50 wineries and cellar doors.
