Nambucca Region

Camping and Caravanning in the Nambucca Region

The Nambucca region is more than pristine beaches and water activities. As well as swimming, surfing and canoeing its hinterland offers a kaleidoscope of historic towns and villages, bush tucker, colourful markets and tranquil rainforests making it an ideal holiday destination.

‘Unspoilt’, ‘unpretentious’, ‘natural’ and ‘friendly’ are words most often used to describe the Nambucca Valley. It is a place you remember visiting when you were a child – and it remains just as memorable.

The eastern boundary of the Valley stretches from Scotts Head in the south to Valla Beach in the north – 23 kilometres of picturesque coastline broken only by the Nambucca River joining the ocean at Nambucca Heads. The western boundary stretches to the mountain rainforests of the Great Dividing Range.
