The Settlement Camping Area

Located 1km east of the township of Springbrook or 30km south-west of Mudgeeraba in the Gold Coast Hinterland, The Settlement Camping Area is the only camping area in the Springbrook National Park.

There are 11 well defined sites here that allow tent camping beside your car. Sites 1, 2, 3 and 4 are large enough for camper trailers, campervans and small caravans. The turn-around area at the end of the campground and the campsites themselves are not suitable for oversize vehicles. A map of the campground layout can be found here.

As a newly established campsite, the area around The Settlement Camping Area has been planted with native shrubs and trees the will soon provide more shade. More information about Springbrook National Park Camping can be found here.

Although there is water available at the camps site it is advised to supply your own as water quality can not be guaranteed. If using water from the camping area, please boil or treat with water treatment tablets before drinking. No fires are permitted at this camp site, however fuel stoves such as gas, methylated spirits or other camping stoves can be used. The weather can be changeable and cooler than on the coast so it pays to be prepared for wet or cold weather. (source: NPRSR Qld)

There is some mobile phone service here, but it will depend on your carrier.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed at this campsite.
