Located on the Pacific Motorway in the Logan suburb of Tanah Merah the Galaxy Caravan Park is on the southern outskirts of Brisbane, directly opposite the famous Logan Hyperdome Shopping Complex.

The Galaxy Caravan Park is a quaint holidaying destination nestled comfortably between Brisbane City and the Gold Coast and it boasts outstanding friendliness, a relaxed atmosphere and exceptional cleanliness.

The Turner family has owned the caravan park since 1974 and are proud to say that they are still owned and operating in the same way – three generations along! With the assistance of a small and very capable team, Galaxy Caravan Park look forward to welcoming you on your future stay.

With its relaxed vibe, spotless amenities, saltwater pool and abundance of Australian wildlife, Galaxy Caravan Park is the perfect place to base yourself as you explore all that South-East Queensland has to offer. The Loganholme Hyperdome bus station and Loganlea train station are in close proximity to the park making public transport a breeze, meaning you beat the traffic and avoid parking costs and due to its prime location near the Logan Hospital, which is only a short 9 minute drive away, the park is a sought after location for many people during ongoing treatments and appointments.

Travelling with pets? No problems! Galaxy Caravan Park is pet friendly for tourist sites. If you’re travelling in your own van and you want to bring your furry friend along, please do! All that’s asked for is general courtesy to others – cleaning up after your pet, that they are kept on a leash at all times and that all noise is kept to a minimum. This will ensure that you and your furry family enjoy a quiet and safe stay. When booking your site let them know that you’re travelling with a pet and they will do their best to allocate a space with adequate shade. Unfortunately, they do not allow pets long-term or in any of their cabins.

Galaxy caravan park caters for both long-term tenants and tourists and fosters a friendly and safe environment for everyone on the premises so whether you’re staying for a night or for a year, you’ll be surrounded by a friendly and supportive network. The owners and staff have a wealth of information and knowledge about the area and the industry – so if you’re not sure what to do, where you’re going or how to get there all you have to do is ask and they will do their best to help out however they can.

UNPOWERED AND POWERED TENT SITES
Unpowered tent sites suit fully self-sufficient travelers. Enjoy the luscious green grass as you kick it old school in your own tented accommodation. The tent sites accommodate small one man tents up to large full sized multi-room family tents and everything in between. Tent sites are ideal spots for those travelling in small camper vans and cars.

TOURIST CARAVAN SITES
Those travelling in their own caravans have an array of different sites available to them. To cater to specific needs, they have sites to accommodate the smallest and largest of vans and buses. There are grass and concrete slab sites available depending on the size of the van. There are also two drive-thru sites but get in quick as these are a favourite of new caravanners due to their ease and accessibility! If you need a hand backing on to your site, their helpful and experienced workers are more than happy to help guide you on! Just let them know at the time of booking.

TOURIST CABINS
All you need to do is bring yourself and your luggage if you’re staying in one of their fully self-contained cabins. The cabins contain a kitchenette (microwave, stove, fridge, kettle, as well as cooking utensils, pots and pans etc). All your appliances and linen (including blankets) are provided as well as further appliances available at the office upon request (hair dryers etc).
