Washpool Reserve Camping Grounds

Located on Washpool Road approx 15km west of Warwick on Leslie Dam, Washpool Reserve Camping Grounds is State land that is marked for camping. The Southern Downs Regional Council is the trustee of the reserve.

It has been one of Queensland’s most popular freshwater destinations for many years and caters for a variety of activities such as camping, fishing (golden perch (yellowbelly), silver perch and murray cod) as well as power boats, skiing, jet skiing and sailing.

Washpool Reserve has 33 powered sites, allocated on a first in first serve basis, and a number of non‐powered sites such as tent sites, drive-thru sites that fit both big and small caravans. It is bush camping with all the facilities of a caravan park offering disabled friendly toilets, amenities block with hot showers, picnic tables and shelter sheds, barbecues and running water.

Bookings are required. Call Washpool Camping Reserve on 0427 026 216 between 12 pm and 5 pm, 7 days per week to book.
Campers are welcome to stay for up to 3 nights. Check in after 12:00 pm and Check out is before 11:00 am.
