Kyneton Mineral Springs Reserve

Located 3.7km north west of the post office in the town of Kyneton on Burton Avenue, the Kyneton Mineral Springs Reserve and Rest Area is a free short term campsite just off the Calder Highway.

The reserve is a well developed rest and picnic area, with sealed roads, mown grass and is well shaded by plantings of deciduous trees. It is maintained by the local council and they have marked out designated spots on the roadway for parking your RV for up to 48 hours. Please do not park on the grassed sections of the park. Limited spaces are available and are offered on a first come, first served basis.

Kyneton Mineral Springs Reserve is easily accessible and is fairly quiet but there is some noise from the road and also from the nearby train line. The Campaspe River runs beside the reserve and there are two mineral springs within the parks boundaries, one of which is in the period rotunda and has a pump with which to sample the water.

There is good mobile phone service and television reception here.
Dogs are welcome at this campsite but please be responsible!

The maximum time limit for staying here is 48 hours.
