Blackall East Rest Area

Located 9km south east of Blackall and 93km north west of Tambo on the Landsborough Highway, the Blackall East Rest Area is a free overnight roadside campsite in the Blackall Tambo Region of Central West Queensland.

This rest area is a combined motorist and heavy vehicle rest area where trucks, motorists, and caravans can stop and take a break. It is very basic with little shade but it has easy access just off the highway.

Blackall East Rest Area has quite a lot of space for even the biggest of rigs and offers the basic facilities needed for visitors that are passing through the area.

There is some mobile phone service here, but it will depend on your carrier.
Dogs are welcome at this campsite but please be responsible!

The maximum time limit for staying here is 20 hours.
